REIKI FOR ANIMAL COMPANIONS

Pets and other animal companions benefit from Reiki as much as their human companions do.
Does your animal companion deal with arthritis, other joint pain, chronic infections, anxiety, behavioral problems, etc.? In addition to the care your veterinarian gives your companion, Reiki sessions can promote health and well-being for your friend.
Animals respond very well to Reiki. They bask in its healing warmth. Just as with humans, that deep relaxation helps with the healing processes of body, mind, and spirit - targeting the source of their problems, not just the symptoms. And, when our companions are in their late stages of life, Reiki can provide relaxation and pain relief during their final days and make their transition a bit easier.
Some animals prefer not to be touched and that is okay. Reiki is easily given from a distance. Cats and birds particularly prefer to sit a foot to three feet away from me. Dogs seem to prefer hands-on. Some animals do a combination, wanting some touch and then curling up slightly away to take a "Reiki nap" while the energy flows. Each animal is unique in how she/he receives Reiki, but all I have worked on have responded positively to it.
I generally prefer to use distance Reiki with animals but I am available in the Lancaster County and Eastern York County, PA areas for face-to-face sessions with dogs, cats, birds, other smaller animals, horses and other large animals. I have successfully done distance sessions as far away as Europe so location really is not an issue. Reiki is spiritual, Universal Life Force and as such can be sent to anywhere the intention is set for it to go. Distance is no barrier to this marvelous healing energy.
If I do travel to your home, an additional travel fee may be applied.
Our Maggie Poodle loves to receive Reiki and I use it regularly to help her stay happy, healthy, and balanced. When she had double knee surgery we were able to reduce her reliance on heavy medications because the Reiki reduced her pain and swelling. She used the medicine when she needed it and Reiki the rest of the time.
