Reiki is a healing technique that was developed in Japan. It is a safe natural method of spiritual healing using divine energy passed through the practitioner to the receiver. Reiki helps balance body, mind and spirit and when in balance, healing can take place. One of my greatest joys as a Reiki practitioner is to help someone find this balance and harmony.

Reiki is not a replacement for medical or mental health care. Reiki works in combination with medical and mental health therapies to help facilitate recovery and healing. If you have medical conditions currently being treated by, or which should be being treated by, a physician it is very important that you continue (or seek out) that care. A Reiki practitioner cannot give medical diagnoses or advice.
If you live in the Lancaster/Columbia/York PA areas and believe Reiki can be of benefit to you, contact me to set up an appointment.
If you live outside of the Lancaster area and wish to schedule a distance Reiki session, that can be arranged also. Reiki is spiritual, Universal Life Force and as such can be sent to anywhere the intention is set for it to go. Distance is no barrier to this healing energy.
In addition, I also provide Reiki services for animal companions and animal communication.

About Me
I am a Usui Reiki Teacher/Master and more recently have become a Karuna ReikiŽ Master (Karuna ReikiŽ is a registered trademark of The International Center of Reiki Training.)
. My goals are (1) to provide Reiki sessions to promote healing through deep relaxation and stress-reduction and (2) to teach and offer Reiki attunements to those wishing to practice this system of healing.
Reiki is a safe natural method of spiritual healing that uses "universal life energy" transmitted through the practitioner to the receiver.
I am often asked how I came to practice Reiki so I will share that here. Although Reiki is not a religious practice, it is a spiritual practice. An important part of my spiritual life is my Christianity. I live out my faith in the Episcopal tradition. My faith and church work have always been an integral part of who I am.
As I moved through my spiritual journey I discovered that one of my gifts is intercessory prayer. Over the years, I participated in the laying on of hands for healing both on my own and within a church setting. During those sessions I sensed a tangible energy flowing through my hands. I began to investigate what that meant and accepted that I also had a healing gift.
Many years ago, someone suggested that I become Reiki attuned. I began to research Reiki and slowly came to realize this was to be the avenue to use my healing gifts. I have been seeing clients since 2006 and started teaching Reiki in early 2008. Reiki effectively ramped up" the energy that naturally flowed through me to send to others.
Obviously I can effect no healing; rather, I act as the intercessor and allow the Divine Healing Energy to flow through me to the receiver. The one receiving the energy is actually the 'healer'. We are truly blessed to have this capability within each of us.
As a Reiki Teacher/Master I am committed to helping all who come to me to tap into the Universal Life Force which sustains us all. When we accept that Divine Energy, our bodies can respond sometimes in very amazing ways. Reiki assists the receiver to achieve balance in body, mind and spirit. When these three aspects are balanced, healing can take place. Because there is no physical manipulation of the body, Reiki is appropriate for all ages and conditions.
I currently see clients at 259 N 6th Street, Columbia, PA. This location is convenient to both the Lancaster and York areas. Hours are by appointment. Daytime, evening and Saturday appointments available as well as distance Reiki.
